My Hubby and I wanna go somewhere hot to surf in june that is not too far from the UK, we were thinking Sri Lanka but the wave reports I have read are conflicting, has anyone been in June?

where would you recommend for a June Holiday??

We went to Cornwall at Easter as a warm up act but it was a bit flat!! :x

Haven't been but I heard it is mostly year round, just on different coasts. April - Nov stay on the east coast, rest of the year on the west coast. East coast is a bit dodgier in terms of the security though.

It’s all-good there though it can be a bit small over our summer. That been said its loads better than anywhere else I have been for a mix of culture and surf. I surfed there in May June and it was three foot for pretty much two weeks.

Morocco is great and there are waves in summer but the heat is just a pure killer 40-45 degrees. But well worth it in the winter.

Reunion is expensive but the waves there are like nowhere else I have surfed just pure power and the if your into climbing and trekking the interior of the island rules

Maldives is a treat anytime of the year but make sure you pick the right island and it does have flat spells.

Portugal is always flat when I go mid summer but France seems to have waves and you can choose between bevy and dancing until first light of just chill camping in Forests.

Have fun

You coudl opf course just rock over to the Canaires which picks up any swell. I went to Lanzarote and stated the otehr side of teh isleand to Puerto delcarmen and
