Where To Surf Mid/Late November

Postby gingerfinger » Wed Nov 13, 2013 10:35 pm

Hi,

I'm planning my first dedicated surf holiday (kite surfed for 12 years but finally seen the light ;)

This is my shopping list. Any help appreciated :

- Sunny (most days doesn't have to be all over the 2 weeks)
- Intermediate waves not steep as I'm big/old/crp. Something long and easy would be perfect
- Would want to surf most days but min half the days...
- Not expensive
- Be great to stay on the beach somewhere pretty chilled (don't want party on doorstep)

I live in London and so far have been looking at Canaries (but waves sound too advanced and it all looks a bit built up) and Morocco but keep hearing it's rainy that time of year?

Rainy in Taghazout area? Not a chance. The next week alone are sunny and in the 20s.

Conact Moroccan Surf Adventures - There's a nice mellow wave just down the road from them, it's warm, it's cheap and the house is nice and chilled.

Cheers!

Hi gingerfinger, welcome to Surfing Waves!
When are you thinking of going - is this for some winter sun and waves?

If you go there you'll see that they don't get much rain at all there. November gets roughly 25mm of rain and December 60 mm on average. That's bugger all. If you get one big storm in one day, that'll do it.
