Used soft top with bottom discoloration

Postby ShortNTall » Sat Aug 03, 2013 6:58 pm

I'm considering this soft top longboard for my husband. He's 6'5" (198cm) so I'm looking for a 10' to 11' board. I saw this listing but worried about the discoloration on the bottom. Any thoughts. Link to the listing is below:

Honestly I'd suggest staying away from foamie boards, they are great as a rental but not as a permanent boats since it didn't really show you to do much. If you're serious about getting him into surfing I suggest getting and epoxy longboard, they are durable and easy to ride.

I ended up not buying it. Will probably get him an NSP 11'. Thanks for your response!

I really don't think you need to go 11ft, 9' to 9'6"and about 22 to 23 " wide would be good and at least 3 inches thick,,in epoxy construction for a little more float , I'm 6ft and 220lbs and I ride 9 ft and 8ft boards my shorter boards are thicker than my longer boards!
This might give you a little more choice! :D
