Old G&S windsurfer. Need advice

Postby bluefx4 » Tue Jul 23, 2013 8:12 pm

Hey y'all.

I got this old G&S windsurfer. I wanted to know what y'all think of it. The serial number is on the 10000 range. I had a guy offer me money. Thanks.

Ok yeah. I don't know anything about boards or surfing. I bought this board for my daughter to play with. I do want to know is it worth something? Should I hang on to it. Should I stop using it and hang it up? Is G&S a preferred brand? Sorry if I'm in the wrong forum. Thanks for your time.

Funky? I'm just an old country boy from NC. Don't know what you mean.

Its alright i'm getting on a bit too. Funky means i like the look of it, different and cool. Try contacting the makers direct for infomation re the board. They seem only to make surfboards now so it may be worth something.

Bluefx4 it will a good paddle around on a lake or something board G&S are a world wide brand but originated in the States.
You could pick up a Stand up paddle paddle for your daughter ( depending on her age size and weight) and it would be great there might even be old rigs available for the windsurfing bit, try Craigs list.
A State side windsurfing forum would have a lot more help than we can give you.
Might even eventually get your daughter into surfing. Have fun
