Buying a new board

I have found what i think is a bit of a bargain - second hand fish - 150 , but before i part with my cash, i just want some advice from you lot. I am currently riding a 6'2 x 18.5 x 2 - the coke board from my pic. I am 5'10, 11.5 stone and a fairly decent surfer, but i am growing fed up with surfing underwater to be honest, so i have found this fish 6'6 x 20.5 x 2.5. I am going to use this for the rest of the summer, possibly in the winter. What do you guys think - to big, to wide?????? What would you advice me to look for?

I'm six foot 200 pounds and I've ridden a 5'11 fish about the same dimensions. The thing about fishes are they are super easy to paddle compared to a regular shortboard due to the lack of rocker and wide nose and tail. Do your research on a fish before you buy it. Try surf science they have great explanations on all kinds of surf tech.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Is the board way too small for you? Are you getting waves on it? The only time it should be 'underwater' really is when you're paddling, otherwise it should be planing. If it's not planing, it's bogging and your ride will be over. This could be due to sloppy waves, board too small, or lack of surfing skill.
The fish that you mention will be like a cork compared to that shortboard, ie. massively buoyant, very easy to catch waves, harder to duckdive etc. It depends what you are looking for.
