2 month budget surf camp around Europe, Where?

Postby JoshSurf » Wed Jul 17, 2013 3:35 pm

Hey guys,

So i did go to Morroco last October, wasn't fantastic to be honest but ill do a write up when i have time.

Ok so this year, assuming i leave my high pressured job, i want to go somewhere for July-September which will have to be around Europe i guess as i am in UK. Must be dirt cheap prob only want to spend around 900 altogether.

is this possible and where would you recommend for this time of year?
cheers,
Josh

I was thinking Hossegor? It says the surf starts around the end of August though, which is a bit worrying, and the most basic of packages, for 2 months, all around £1200-£1500, you really cant scrimp on these things, i tried last year in Morocco, didn't go to plan.

Places to Consider:
Hossegor
Ericeira
Somewhere in Spain
Other Portugal Locations

Either need more money or someone who knows an area well and is willing to share contacts!

Hey,

If you want to surf in Europe durring july-september. I think the best place for that period would be Canarian Islands, where you will find waves all year round. Other places, not so sure. Personally I think Las Palmas is the best surf city in europe.

If you are looking for a budget place you can try : www.surfcamp-lowcost.com

I stayed their in may and eveyrthing was great, weather atmospher etc,

peace
