i'm Al. i frequent westport and on the occassion, the straits. my current quiver consists of a quad fin fish/fun shape, a 9'4 round tail single fin by true soul, and my main log a 10ft pearson arrow dane perlee shape. i'm a longboarder for the most part. but i ride whatever the mood calls for. i love the washington coast, i have good etiquette/respect, been surfing for 12 years, and my influences are: Tom Wegener, Dane Perlee, CJ Nelson, Brain Anderson, The Malloy brothers, Dave Rastovich, and whoever is having fun. up for carpooling, bbqing, and camping. i was hoping to meet some people that share my drive and appreciation for the water. cheers.

Hi guys
I am from Venezuela, recently I got an offer for my dream job in Seattle, they only thing stopping me is surfing. I really need to know if I will have to quit my surfing life or not. Where to go surfing if you live in Seattle? I see you mentioned Westport, how far is that by car? any other spot? how consistent and good are the waves? many thanks. Im really worried about losing my favourite sport. Cheers. Sal

Hey Al. Just read your message on the forum. I just moved to the Seattle area from San Diego and I'm trying to find spots to surf and people to go with. You mentioned you're interested in carpooling. I longboard myself too. I have a 9'6" single fin pintail But I also brought a shorty 7'4". I have no idea what the waves are like here but I'm really itching to get in the water. Was wondering if you'd be interested in meeting up for a surf? I'm actually kinda far from seattle. I'm living in sultan right now. I know its gonna be a drive wherever I go but it's worth it to me. You mentioned Westport and I've seen a few people talk about it. I'd love to check it out. Drop me a line if you're interested.
