So im moving up in the way i surf i am surfing around 20 hours a week sometimes more sometimes less depending on work schedules. Im trying to dial in a better bottom turn i can do it on some of the 6 foot waves i surfed and the better forming waves i have surfed but on the usual wave i surf with my freinds are kind of mushy is there a diffrent way to compensate for the mushier wave in the turn. next gaining speed on the mushier wave i under stand the kinda squiggle motion up and down into the trough and back up the wave but im wondering does it change on the mushier stuff.

I ride a 6'6 northen alliance diamond tail quad fin.
Being shaped at this moment is my 5'8 3rd stone gizmo.
