SoloShot, is it worth the money?

Has someone tried it? It allows you to film yourself without having someone to hold your camera. Looks good to me, a bit pricy. I have read mixed reviews, seems to be problematic to get the base unit to pair with the arm band.

I'd didn't know what you were talking about. Here's a video for other hermitic individuals like me.

I wonder how long you could leave it before it got nicked.

Ok, I didn't want that it looks like an advertisement.

That's true. I would have my girlfriend tanning on the beach, that should do it.

Actually it looks like a really good idea. Ok you dont want to leave it there without 'company' but it probably does a good job of keeping you in shot. I guess you dont get the zoom etc that an actual person would give; but you also dont get the junk you will usually obtain from an amateur camera person.

Still, for the occassional user, its probably cheaper just to sweet talk your girlfriend into filming you for 1/2 hr.

When it's a little busier you may find that you don't even feature when you get the footage home.

Yes, I think it's great. But I would like to get some feedback from someone who purchased it.

It's a bit optimistic to expect first hand feedback here, I've never even seen one! Neat idea but the lack of zoom would hurt.

Well I guess I will buy one this year! Would have thought that it sells well. But I haven't seen it on the beach or spoken to someone who bought it.

Don't almost all of the drones require a pilot and a camera operator to take video, or are some more automatic than that?

Drones must require a pilot.

I actually have one and its awesome!!! I take it to San Clemente (surfing)all the time and it works great.I don't usually have anyone to go with me so it just sits there videoing me. I also use it for mororcross and soccer games.

The great thing about this is I'll never have to rely on anyone to video me or even pay them :)

Take care guys and good luck

Some reviews at Amazon give pretty good review score for SOLO SHOT.

The price around $300 :? But if you enjoy 'selfie' so much maybe you can give a shot
