Meyerhoffer Slip In - Its wierd

Postby nottyR6 » Wed Nov 28, 2012 11:05 am

Anyone seen one yet, he certainly like to bring new ideas to surfing:

Certainly not for the image conscious, but I wonder what it goes like for the average surfer?

That is one definite try before you buy board.
open mind and open mouth on looking at it

Wow thats one funny looking board. Wouldn't pay that much for it, however.
Could be fun!

I HAD the 9-1 original longboard thru GSI and enjoyed the feel and ride of it. I traded it in due to my fear that our heavy lipped, fats breaking and unforgiving waves around here would snap it at the narrow waist of the board. I DO wish they would've used the X2 core in lieu of their SLX core, though. I currently ride a 9-0 Pearson Arrow F1 Surftech and a 9-6 Takayama In The Pink Surftech. I prefer the buoyancy of the surftech cores over PU or such epoxy models as the GSI SLX core. I HAD also given the SLX core a few more tries buying the McTavish 9-0 as well as the Walden mini mega magic and both boards I traded back in due to their SLX cores. I would love to give this board a try here on the outer banks of North CArolina as well as few other models of his (being the horsepill, the pill, the lemon drop, and the super pin). Anyone rode any of those yet? Any feedback???
