Croyde Crowded in Feb?

Postby Gorilla55 » Mon Feb 18, 2013 8:30 pm

Hi all,

I have been considering surfing Croyde for some time but the crowd factor has put me off.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what the crowd factor would be like tomorrow as I'm considering driving down

Cheers,

Dan

Pick a random number and add one. You'll never know if you never go.
Don't even think about The Pass at Byron Bay,The Super Bank or Malibu, Croyde crowded ,nuh.

Ha ha yeah your right there's only really one way to find out I suppose. I choose 0+1 so I don't think
It's a crowded spot! I'm guessing its a summer problem as with most places that are consistent. I've decided to hit the Gower anyway Cheers.

Croyde is usually manic once the summer season is in full swing, (Easter onwards), I was down there last year Feb and there were maybe 10 people in the water.

Is there a crowd to avoid?
Perhaps it's to be found at Croyde.
In Australia it's clearer
The crowding's at Kirra.
They get in the way at old Bryon Bay
and a surf learning class
fills up the beach at The Pass.
The beaches of Sydney are one serious joke
all kinds people think they're surfing folk
you'll find they are seriously daft
in efforts to ride all sorts of craft.

But there are spots round the coast
about which we boast,
though we won't tell you where
cause we don't want to share.
In England too if you travel around
Out of the way spots just wait to be found.

Sadly now, many are never alone
they dial heaps of friends on their cellular phone.

So someone please make an App
That makes your surf photo
show surf that is Cr-P :D
