I would go to your local surf shop and rent a 5/3 wetsuit, on one of your colder days and see how you do in it. This way you can make a good decision based on how you feel in a 5/3 wetsuit verses a 6/4/3 wetsuit.

Hello
I had a 5/3 flash bomb and it was really good, i surf in north devon year round
and the suit was toasty right through the winter even without a thermal rash vest.
Would defo recommend!!

I surf all winter in the UK and have a 5/3 with thick gloves, boots, good, thermal rash vest. I have used a 3 in the winter before and it is no fun :-(

I like the flash bomb. Its warmer than the e bomb, if you are looking for extra warmth
