Hooded Suit fit!

Postby Johno » Thu Dec 13, 2012 8:15 am

Hi Its been a while since I last posted! im sorry.

Got a quierey on Ripcurl hooded suit i have purchased the E bomb hooded suit in a size large and XL for the best fit.

The XL fits perfectly appart from round the neck / piece wich pulls over the head might not be tight enuf! the large Is very tight around the legs and wast but seems to fit better round the chest / neck area.

The XL feels well more comfy and flexible but what i am worried about is that the top off the suit will flush every time I duck dive. I dont know if this will happen due to the hood and draw cord thow?

Can any one offer any advise as once i have worn one of the suits in the sea the shop wont accept it back.

This has happend to me before when i bought a £200 xcel suit every time i duck dived it flushed and filled with water, luckly the shop tuck it back as i said i habn not used it! (this was not a hooded suit by the way)

Any advise would be appreciated.

Cheers

If the XL wetsuit feels a little big before you even get it in the water it may flush. I like my wetsuits to fit nice and snug. I may even get them a bit tight when they are new knowing that they will break in a little bit. Hope that helps. Only you know how the wetsuits feel when you have them on, so go with what you think will be best.
