Wetsuit under suit

Postby cravenbiker » Fri Dec 07, 2012 1:01 am

Hi all, anyone tried this at all? http://bit.ly/SR3SiK going to Portugal next week and wondered if this will be enough to go under my 3:2 suit instead of a whole new winter suit.

Thanks

Could you fit your wetsuit on with another wetsuit underneath it? If you could it would be warmer, but it might be a bit restrictive in terms of flexibility

That cold work reasonably well I have a 2mm titanium lined rash vest that reall lifts the warmth quotient, but can leave a cold patch around the kidneys . so your unter suit may well be worth while!. A little more rubber to paddle though.
Let us know how your Portugal trip goes. :D

. . . . Well I find Rash Vests in winter make me colder . . . so a bit more neoprene must make a warmth difference (but would make you more buoyant).

Arrived yesterday! Luckily it fits perfect. Tried it on under my 3:2 suit and it feels slightly restrictive! The Velcro shoulder strap is a bit annoying and I've got a feeling it might chaff, ill see how it goes with a rashy.
Seems to be made really well though. I guess I'll h e to wait til next week for the proper road test!
