looking to go somewhere for christmas surfing

Postby dangerous dave » Wed Nov 21, 2012 8:13 pm

looking to go away around christmas time as my first long distance surf trip with the mrs and kids .
the girls can chill on the beach and me and my son try and get some waves .
still quite new to the sport .
will look to have some lessons where required but basically get as much wave time as poss.
is barbados or any of the caribbean islands a good place to go as a first trip . :?

Barbados has a number of companies running surf lessons, and some suitable beaches. It would be a great place for a trip.
Anyone had any experience there?

A bit chauvinistic and Dangerous, Dave.Ever thought the girls might like to surf too.
If you all surf there is more chance of family surf trips

I've never been to Barbados, but its got an Atlantic coast. I know Rincon in Puerto Rico which is fantastic in winter.
