Leash and Traction Brands...???

Would you be considered a "kook" if your leash and traction pad brands are different..?

I have a snowboarding background and we were not so technical about certain parts of our gear matching.

But just looking at pictures, vids, the amount of gear and surf culture in general...I just get this feeling that maybe your leash and traction pad should be the same manufacturer. Sorry, just a little OCD coming out...haha =).

At the least...it shows taste, personality and style (something very important in extreme/board sports...at least in my opinion).

Looking at Dakine, OnAmission and CreaturesofLeisure. Creatures seems to appeal to me the most.

Which ones do you guys use, liked, disliked? Is the performance/quality pretty much equal across the spectrum no matter which company?

Simple rule what works best don't worry about matching stuff, nobody else will be looking.
Pads look for 3M glue surfaces underneath. Leashes swivel both ends and a webbed area so the leash does not cut through the rails of your board.
