I went to the Outer Banks, North Carolina when this hit it was fun, but prayers with those families affected and my friend Jack and Ferdinand who collided while we were down there.

It turned a lot of northeast surf breaks into disaster areas, my beach (and home town) included. Still don't even know when we'll be allowed back on the island to assess the damage to our homes and start cleanup/rebuilding. Weird that just over a week ago my main concern was that it didn't look like NJ was going to get great surf out of this one.

Nice video, though.
