I think you'll be making some friends on this forum.
Prepare yourself for lots of "I really like you, can I come to Tavarua" type messages.
All I can say is lucky you.

I've not been to Tavarua but surfed at Namotu and Wilkes last year and it was amazing. Crystal clear, warm water, sunshine, good waves. I had a great time.

Stayed at Seashell Cove on the mainland, nearest resort to Tavarua, for the poor people, smelly surfpackers etc.

Tavarua, have the exclusive reff/surf rights to Cloudbreak, Restaurants and all the best uncrowded spots as well as rights to Wilkes Passage and Mini Cloudbreaks, which can get very crowded.

If you are surfing the latter two breaks don't tell anyone you are staying on Tav or that you're mate's dad owns the resort, you might be beaten up.

The island is beautiful and the surf is fantastic, obviously CLouds gets a bit heavy.
Enjoy your trp, can i come, please
