FlowRider

Postby hollye119 » Thu Sep 27, 2012 3:52 pm

So I've just come back off a cruise with Royal Caribbean and on board I went on the FlowRider. It was so good and I really want to take up surfing, but I dont know anywhere I can go.
I live in Birmingham (England) can someone please tell me the best places to go surfing?

Hi hollye119, welcome to Surfing Waves.

Your best bet would be contact one of the surf schools at Newquay in Cornwall, because surfing actual waves is going to be different to riding ones on the Flow Rider. As you'd expect, there are loads there, a quick Google search for 'Newquay surf schools' will show you what options there are. Why Newquay? It's the 'surfing capital' of the UK and gets a lot of consistent surf and there are a lot of surf schools, surf shops and all that kind of thing. Yes, it's crowded, especially in the summer and at weekends but it's one of the best places to go.

Good luck. :)
