Mexico ...

Postby Makka » Wed Aug 22, 2012 7:50 pm

So I'm going to be spending 4-5 months in Mexico as of Jan 2013 & looking for experienced advice from you guys!

Starting off in Puerta Vallarta & will be looking to hook myself up with a board instantly.

What's the likely-hood of me being able to browse for boards in that area? I've heard boards are super easy to come by further south, say Puerto Escondido / Zipolite way but I won't be down that way for a few more months into my trip!

Spots on my list include:

San Blas
Sayulita (Possibly)
Pascuales
La Ticla (Plan to spend a heap of time here)

Before eventually heading to breaks further south.

My main issue is where I can score myself a board, so anyone got experience in these areas & can inform me what my chances are?

Thanks!
Makka

North of Puerto Vallarta , Punta de Mita has some great mellow longboard and SUP spots, or if a good SW swell hits good for shortboards too.
Coral reef surfboards in Bucerias sells good surfboards, new and used.
Have fun
