The symbol and blue rays at the nose are a custom addition by the looks of things. It's a bic board and measures 9'1"

Basically I need to know because it's got a ding.... Well it's got lots of dings but one ding needs repaired because it has split right through.

BIC boards are constructed differently to other boards, so you cant use 'normal' repair kits.

The BIC website has a section on how to repair its boards and sells a BIC specific repair kit.

If you google 'BIC surfboard repairs' you will get a couple of other sites to help you out.

I'm no expert, but you need to:

- keep in mind that a big crack in a BIC board may not be totally repairable (in which case your best bet is to waterproof it as much as you can and use it for as long as possible); and

- make sure that the foam inside is in ok condition.

Obviously giving both boards a good clean and new waxing will be a good idea.

I've already cleaned the wax from both, the longboard seems to be made differently from the nix mini-mal

I've ordered a phix doctor epoxy kit as I've read that it's the safer option and seems its what to use on a bic.
