i was surfing with a friend and these two girls last week and one of them was riding a foam board. she wasnt really paying attenting and sitting parallel with the shore when a good chest high wave rose up and slammed right down on her. i just sort of laughed and turned to keep waiting for a wave but when i looked back towards the shore, i saw her carrying a board that had been snapped in two. then i laughed even more :D it really was pretty funny haha

babyboarder89....

what I wish to mean about Girls should only Surf in Softies is that:
Girls overall has a bigger "thing in the life" her BODY;so a cut in the leg due a Fin ,means a girl with many "less valor" over the boys.
Get funny don´t need to mean "be hurted".

I wouldn´t say ALL girls, but only those who care about Legs,heads,....

Yeah, its much better to have a perfect, 10 out of 10 burd on your arm, with no physical imperfections whatsoever, and - heaven forbid - any scars.

...Or you could try going out with a real female that does stuff, and enjoys life, maybe even takes a few risks, maybe even surfs.. with a custom board!

Personally Im quite fond of the dent on my girlfriends thigh where she had her very first board Vs body moment

i think there great ! summer fun boards playing in shore dump or tiny waves and scaring tourists  And after surfing a swell/foam board whatever you want to call them and then surf your own board you appreciate it a lot !

I'd recommend foam boards and move up to fiberglass. I occasionally can surf the face with my foam board... isn't magic, just takes a lot of effort and occasionally getting thrown off the board :P When she gets better she can buy her own fiberglass board :)

2 months later and i can assure you youre if anything More likely (if not certain) to scar on a softtop! even if you dont actually Injure yourself per se, i just sat on the damn thing and got a big red scarry soft shiny style skin on the inside of both knees! lovely!
