Surfing Tenerife at August

hi everyone...
My family and me are going to surf in tenerife at august 1-14....
And I want to ask if there is going to be waves because some sites said that's not the season for waves.
I want to ask if someone here know if there is no waves et all or there is a a liitle bit waves like 2 meter..?

If you can tell me about good spots you know there is waves so I know to take the hotel nearest.
we taking 5 star hotel....

1 more thing you know if there is a place to rent surfboards? (if I won't take myne)

I hope someone can help me here I know here is the best people that knows everything about surf.
