Anybody into Dirt Bikes?????

I have 9 dirt bikes altogether and love it as my 2nd hoppy.
Of course Surfing is #1.
But I ride tracks, trails or anything in between. In one way it's like Surfing.......it's all up to you and what you can do. But those 4-strokes sure have came a long way since the Honda's XR's.
Like 2 of my bikes....crf450's......great 4-stroke motocross bikes!!
Anybody else ride???Where??What do you ride??

Don't do it myself, but my brother does and he's at me the whole time to take it up! Surfing is a lot cheaper!! so I remain a moto x groupie!

He has a Yamaha 125 YZ which is all polished and ported heads and things drilled out to make it faster! It keeps him happy.
The tracks used to be a lot better over here but the guys running the show were more interested in the money rather than the sport. What are tracks like where you are?

I love dirt bikes, too bad they shut down just about every place around to do it. It's like a Federal offence if you go off the pavement. It hurts a bit more when you eat it than surfing As I age the recovery rate increases also. I tend to stick with the waves these days.

The tracks where I ride are fun, but there is always someone getting in your way. Not like slow riders, but the Fast ones. Kind of like a surfer
cutting you off. But all in all it's great fun. And your right about it costing
money to keep up a bike......unlike surfing. But if you have the $$$$$$, way not...? Sounds like your brother has a nice bike!! Cool!!

100%. I like to just get my bike harm before changing the oil and I do that by riding up and down the road. Holy smokes......some people think a bomb is going off or something. They always call the cops. Some people.......??

I'd like to get a dirtbike (my first one, def a beginner!) We have mad trails out here, 20-30 acres of pure woodlands and trails for the dirtbikers and quaders out here. I just dont know where to start!

I used to be into Dirt bikes until I came off out in the bush, broke my leg and had to have it plated. Since then I've ridden a couple of times, but not very often.

Dirt bikes are the best, (except the price!!!)
I'm hopeing to get a dirt bike soon as it has always been my dream since I was 4, so I'm saving the pennies!!!

Yea, i ride quite often. I got a Suzuki RM 125 right now, and ill prolly get a 250 soon. i havent really gotten into the 4 stroke scene yet, when i was like 10 i had a xr 100 but thats it.

im getting back to dirt this year but the bike i want ( CR 450 ) is gonna kill the credit card company ! .
Im riding a 600cc CCM supermoto at the mo' ( street style dirt bike with slicks on ) ...

the best fun ever , its got a short short swingarm and the rest of the bike is reduced ..small tank etc so the thing slides and pops' on any road as if you were on the dirt ... " too much fun " .. put a race pipe on it that shakes the f'in ground when i go on by !! lol .. i love my bike ..shame the locals dont
