Need help!! Emergency

HI everyone.
May be it's gonna sound stupid and silly but i got a problem which doesn't leave me alone..
i've been skateboarding for 5 years and always wanted to try surfing but for some reasons i haven't tried it yet. Since last month i hate it and feel like vomit every time i skate. Eventually i gave up..
But i'm already addicted to adrenalin. I need it.
Recently moved to Florida and now i'm very close to surfing...but i'm afraid that i won't like it. I'm kind of scared of making a new step cause sometimes i think i'm just tryind to replace skateboarding with something. So i'm unsure if i should try surfing. should i? I'm very afraid of getting dissapointed again..
Sorry for taking up your time..
But i really need somebody's advice

id say go for it, at least then youll know if you like it or not, and as for skating, we all get sick of it sometimes, i havent skated in about a month  give it time and youll probably soon find you want to go again. stop stressoing about needing to enjoy it and itll be easier to have fun. good luck :D

When you're old, you wont regret what you did..

...you'll regret what you didn't do.

Go for it, get in there

GO FOR IT! I was scared to surf too when I first learned but it helps you face your fears, both in the water and on land. And trust me, you'll LOVE IT! But I'll give you this warning: You'll never want to stop surfing once you started. :o

Cheers and good luck!

Surfing should never be used to replace something - surf because you want to - slowly the want will turn into need. I'm 2 or so months in and i need to surf everyday - its what gets me through work, knowing that i'm gonna hit the beach at sunset & get out when its dark.

you'll never know if you like it unless you try it. take a couple lessons and rent a board or something and give it a go, only way to know.
