Buying Used Board Help

Hi,

I know this board is not in the greatest of shape. I wanted some knowledgeable opinions on the damages you see and how much you think it could be worth or if it's even worth buying/using. I will have to purchase a fin as well as it was broken off. I will probably go surfing 8-10 times per year, I live to far away to go much more. Just looking for something that is good enough. I'm an okay surfer, but really know nothing about the boards themselves.

I would spend a little more and get something better. With all the yellowing on that board it may not have much life left. When boards take in water they get discolored like that board, and the moisture destroys the foam. Usually de-lamination will follow with soft spots, and the glass separating from the foam.

I wouldn't buy that board even if you know how to make repairs this one is just about to end its life.
The money you would spend getting it repaired would and the no more than $10 you pay should get you something decent, so you can understand why look at this advice from our very own site.
