South Devon, Exeter, Sidmouth, Exmouth etc surf clubs/trips?

Postby jwardmagic » Wed Feb 01, 2012 1:13 pm

I'm from near Exeter and usually travel up to north devon to surf; either croyde or saunton sands. For the past 4 months i have been very tight on money and therefore have not been able to get up there due to fuel costs (it usually costs me about £30 fuel). I was wondering if there are any clubs in the south devon area...exeter, exmouth, sidmouth etc which do a weekly car or minibus trek up there? I also do not know anyone else that surfs and it would be nice to get to know some. This surfing thing (which I'm relatively new to) is becoming a drug addiction of sorts, which I'm experiencing withdrawel symptoms to at the moment!

If there isn't such a thing that exists ( I can't see why there wouldn't be though ), would anyone be interested in making one with me? Maybe a weekly car share trip to croyde, and split the fuel/parking costs?
