possibly moving to Australia

Postby uncwba00 » Mon Jan 23, 2012 8:29 pm

Im trying to get info on water temps and what kind of breaks and hazards and whatnot. I have 2 little girls, oldest is 3 and youngest is 2 months. Of course Im not thinking of throwing them in the water right yet or anything, but looking for places that would be family friendly as well as good for myself.

Looking at mostly Western Australia, Northern Territory, Victoria, (Australian Capital Territory is also recruting for job) or also I guess New South Wales as far as territories to move to.

Also I like to fish, any info on saltwater fishing and/or freshwater would be cool to get.

The difference between the northern territories and the ACT is - shall we say? - "quite large".
About 4000km, 20oC, and the cultural difference between, say, belgium and kenya.

The difference in water temperaturs and hazards between, for instance, victoria and the northern territory is also "quite large".

...so maybe narrow your search down a bit first?

Wait, you can surf at ACT & NT????
In NT, if the crocs don;t get you, the jelly fish will.
In ACT, the boredom will certainly get you
