Buenos Aires + leasing + GoPro

Postby Raastad91 » Mon Jan 09, 2012 10:25 am

Hello!

I'm going backpacking in South America, and I wish to visit Buenos Aires. Does anyone know if there is possible to lease a surfing board with GoPro mount on it? Or do you know if any operators allows me to mount a GoPro mount on a leased board? I'm a beginner, and I'd really love to record some surfing when I travel to Argentina! :)

Can't help you out with this one, but what a great idea. Leasing boards with a GoPro mount on it, perhaps even with a camera.

The few places I've been have had a board or 2 for rent with a mount on them. If you cant find one with a mount just ask to slap one on, I dont foresee any problems.

in addition, the pad actually is semi-permanent.. so its, basically, should be removable...

for me its rather that i dont want to put one on my almost new and shiny webber...
so when going to indo, ill maybe buy me a cheap second hand shortie and use that to film.. or something along those lines...

Yeah, thanks! :)

TheSweatyButcher: As I see it, it shouldn't be a problem to mount it on one of their boards. One argument is that they can have the mount / let it stay on the board. Anyways.. I think I will buy one in case. :)
