Indonesian travels

Postby willpraa » Tue Apr 07, 2009 6:44 pm

Hi guys and girls,

Looking for a place to live for 3 - 6 months from September in Indonesia.

Recently converted from bodyboarding to surfing after a savage trip to Nicaragua and Costa Rica last summer. Got some time off before starting a job in Feb 2010 and want to pick up my board go somewhere exotic, cheapish ($1000 - $1500 per month) - wouldn't mind picking up some casual work, but suppose thats pretty optimistic.

Can anyone give me any tips, places to check out contacts - anything would be very grateful.

Hit the beach today in Cornwall, 10 degrees C on the beach colder in the water...need the sun! Please help

Thanks all

Will

Boy, you're in for a fantastic offer. I rented a house (more like villa) in Bali (Canggu area about 15 minutes North of Kuta) for $1000 (American) a month. Let me tell you what it has. A private pool, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, and get this, a maid who comes in to cook (if you want) and clean the house, and does your laundry too. You can share this house with some friends and have a lot of fun, I know we did. Let me know if you're interested, I can give you the information of the owner.

i would like to suggest you should firstly concerned about the security money and then you have to decide at what monthly rental, you are hiring the house.

Hi indahvoo, I'm planning a 6-month adventure travel trip for 2013 and just trying to plan for it. I was thinking of Asia for surfing (I'm just a beginner) and saw your post from 2009 and to follow up on Supafly's question, can I get more info on that villa? Thanks.
