Hi folks,

I would like to surf from mid Feb to mid March and look for a place right now.

Here are some criterias:

- consistent waves
- warm climate (water can be cold but i dont want to freeze off my ass outside the water, though i dont mind to surf in boardies)
- cheap cost of living (I dont mind to pay for an oversea flight but accommodation, food should be affordable)
- some nightlife around
- hot and easy chicks around

Well, thats it so far.
Am I asking for to much?

Hey Bhodi, then have Punta Hermosa -Peru as an option, it'll be mid summer, plenty of night life, and living here is pretty cheap, we got waves all year and i assure surf everyday, i can make you a good deal if you stay a month, if you have any questoins let me know,

Look at the Philippines, La Union(north) and Siargao Islands(south). There are more surf spots but this is what I've been reading up on. Cheap living and if easy girls are your thing there's plenty of them. I'll be there in Feb if you wanna surf.

I've looked into perusurf's place and it looks like a great deal. It's one place that I plan on visiting.

Hi Sweatybutcher,

I always had a soft spot for Asia so the Philippines are an option.

As a matter of fact, I gathered some infos about surfing the Philippines altready and its always said that surf is inconsistent.

Because of that I am unsure about the Philippines. Where you want to go there? La Union and Siargo?

BTW, wasnt there a heavy typhoon in Mindanao recently?

December and January which tends to be the more crowded time of year attracting surfers from all around the world.''

I plan to surf in La Union till March then going wherever in PI or, head on a short flight to Bali(or go wherever India!?!) . A typhoon did hit Mindanao and last I read were around 1000 dead. I dont know how it will be in a couple months there. Maybe I could volunteer and try to help if I stay.
