Would this board be okay for me?

Hi, Im new to surfing and I was wondering if this board will be ok for me. Its dimensions are 7'10-22 1/8- 3 1/8. I will be surfing in NC near wilmington. I got a 6'5 in march and have stood up a couple times. Its hard for to catch a wave on it. Would 7'10 be better for me? My height is about 5'5. thank you

A big 7'10 will be much more suitable to learn on than a 6'5.
Put the 6'5 away for a while and get to grips with surfing on the 7'10.
