Where to go to in Europe for an advanced beginner? :)

Postby vincent » Mon Nov 14, 2011 4:13 pm

Hi there,
I'm an advanced beginner and looking for some tips where could I go to at the beginning of 2012 (Feb, March and Arpil) in Europe. I live in London and happy to fly even for a short/long Weekend.
I would like to find some spots/beaches where the waves are not huge but not too small tough, where I can rent easily a surfboard, where the locals/food/etc... are nice and easy and where the beaches are not full of coral/rock, if possible!
Thanks for your help! ;)

Vincent: I guess Portugal must be on your map for an experience in surfing Europe. Some of europe greatest spots are here. And not only Ericeira and Peniche Super-tubes. In Lisbon you'll find perfect waves from Estoril Coast to Costa da Caparica. From point to beach breaks the choise is huge. Daily surfing guaranteed.
You can check http://surfinglisbon.blogspot.com for further info and a nice and cheap place to stay.

Keep surfing
Have fun in Europe
