Darkfin Gloves?

Anyone tried them?

The purist in me wants to think they're cheaters.... but I'd really like to try them for some extra paddling power on small days, and perhaps some extra power muscling through the paddle out on larger days.

I wear webbed paddle gloves, they help, they shout KOOK but I surf OK so that is soon forgotten :!:
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷

just take it easy, when going out with them the first few times....

due to the increased paddle power and the massively increased water resistance, if you keep your usual paddle rhythm, it can be realy bad for the shoulder joints... the tendons and the bursa (sac) will suffer badly...
friend almost ruined his shoulders within one session... he had to take it easy for 3 months afterwards and could hardly go surfing...

We carry them, but I have yet to try them. Jaimie Sterling uses them for big waves.

Thanks for the advice... I'm going to be spending the winter working on getting my upper body strength built up. I'm out of service right now w/ a fractured rib... can't paddle or popup at all. Can't even lay on my chest in bed. Looking forward to getting back in the water in the spring!
