Shortboard to shorter board!

I'm currently on a 6'3, 19 5/8, 2 1/2 7s Fuze. I love the board, I think it was great for my transition from longboard to shorboard. It gets down the line quick. I am a pretty small guy, 130lbs 5'8. I want to go smaller. I have no trouble getting on waves but It is usually a bit of a struggle for me to get back out to the lineup. I want a board that is more responsive with slightly better maneuverability. I also want something that is easier to duck dive. I was leaning towards a flyer or flyer II by Channel island possible a 5'8, 19', 2'. Any suggestions? I'm open to anything!! Thanks for the help!

I think you will like the flyer or the flyer II. I have a flyer II now and it is a great all around board. I would say having the small swallow tail in the back gives it a little more bite in bigger waves, but is still works great in small to med sized surf. The Flyer II is not a big wave board by any means, but the swallow tail does help. The flyer is also a great board but may get a little squirrely in bigger waves. I think you will be stoked either way.
