Surfing package

Im seriously thinking about going to the canaries on one of these package deals, with a weeks lessons included plus video footage of yourself, jet skis and the like.

Any of you guys been on one of these jaunts and if so what was your experience.
Im thinking october time to get some decent swell and warm waters.
Any thing compared to tynemouth is a sauna

A year later I have the same question... Did you ever find an answer or go to the canaries yourself? Can you reccommend anything?

Well, I'm after booking a week's surf package to the surf clinic in Famara Lanzarote with pure vacations for the last week in July. If you can wait till then I'll let you know how I got on and what it was like!
