Access to surf footage

Some of the coverage of the surf comps online now is excellent. I was looking at some of the heats on the hurley live site this morning to see if anything interesting happened. Being able to fast forward, pick the scoring waves to have a look at, listen to interviews - it's all really good.
When I was a kid (a long time ago now), you never used to see surfing in the media / tv anywhere (in the UK). Now you can access thousands of clips, watch it live. You've got webcams of your local break etc etc. Things have really come on a lot.
One place you always used to see surfing - it always seemed to be the standard still on TV's for sale.

anyway, back to something more constructive :blah:
