First used board has softspot, can it be fixed?

Postby StormRiderHB » Thu Sep 15, 2011 6:20 pm

New to surfing and bought a used 7 footer. There is an area on the bottom top that is soft when pressing on it. Is it possible to get this fixed?

The area looks undamaged (circled in green), it's only when you press on it then you can feel like it's hallow underneath. LIke the foam got crushed or something..

btw can put a traction pad on this board?

You can put a traction pad on this board if you like.
A close up picture would be more helpful if you'd like some feedback on your bubble.

Ok I figured it out, it's delimination. I found some repair tips online. I think I'll try the seringe method.

Or is should even bother fixing it? It's about 20 centimeters wide near the right side of the tail. Maybe as suggested I should just get a tracktion pad??
