Bought a used board, should I remove old wax?

Postby StormRiderHB » Tue Sep 13, 2011 3:36 am

Aloha all!

Just started surfing and bought a 7"2 board in decent condition. The board is covered with a layer of old wax. It does feel like the grip is ok, the old wax is kinda dirty and I can't add new wax on top of it.

Should I take the time to remove the old wax and apply a new layer?

You don't need to, but hey, its your board now - dont you wanna see it all clean and sparkling? 8)

Definately take the wax off, it's your new board after all.
