But he got a perfect 10 against Taj! First one in the Quiksilver Pro. and he actually claimed the wave......

Yeah it looked kinda like the wave that Heitor Alves pulled out yesterday!!....but he didn't get a perfect 10 he got a 9.43

I missed the one by Heitor Alves, another amazing air. The quality of the waves yesterday will have done the event a lot of good. Justified holding it in New York, and will probably do so next year

Yes I agree. The waves we saw in the last two days made Long Beach very promising.
