Surf Rental Near Gijon

I am new to this forum and relatively new to surfing.
Im planning a trip to northern spain at the start of october. Probably staying around the coast at gijon. Im looking to do a few days surfing and wondered if anyone knows any surf rental shops in the area? Ive struggled to find any through google.

Hi David,

There are a couple of places in Salinas, just down the road from Gijon i think this surf school (http://www.escueladesurflasdunas.com) also has a shop that hires out kit. There are lots of fantastic beaches near gijon for beginners too, and there this a huge amount of surfing on that coast and they are very uncrowded so i'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.
