Surfing Southeast Florida

Postby rubberbandman182 » Mon Feb 14, 2011 2:55 am

I've spent some time surfing on the East Coast in northern Florida (St. Augustine) and the surf is usually pretty good. I'm curious as to how the surf is down south on the East Coast, specifically in the West Palm Beach/Jupiter Beach area. I may be moving to West Palm sometime this year and wanted to get an idea of what the surf is like. Any and all information on the topic would be helpful. Thanks.

Haven's surfed south of Melbourne, but hear Reef Road in West Palm (i think) can go off at the right time!

We have a south of Melbourne here in Australia, called Tasmania, we also have numerous Palm Beachs ( but doesn't everyone), a Miami Yep we copied that, a Copacabana, a Sydney like Nova Scotia.
We have Buggery, Treachery, Disaster Bay, Cape Disappointment, Wreck Bay, Wreck of the Ethell, The wreck, Tin Can Bay, Shark Island, Whale Beach, Wedding cake Island, Voodoo, Sandshoes, The Hunter Bombie, Grunters, Bunga Camel Rock, Guilloteens, Deadman's and that's just on a good day.
You can hang around Noosa, or pass on Byron bay or maybe you feel Manly, well I could go on but I haven't been to all of them yet. So that will do.
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷
