Postby owendavis » Tue Aug 02, 2011 2:42 pm

Hi everyone, im Owen im 19 currently living in Cardiff! I am moving to Southampton in SEPTEMBER! To study outdoor adventure management!

I currently surf ALLOT! (WHEN THERE'S SWELL) I ride a 6ft Santa Cruz Ozzie board, I would say that I have a decent surfing level. basically I want to keep my surfing up as I love it, don't want lose it, so I was just wondering if there was anyone in Southampton, who surfs regularly around my age who would be willing to guide me in soton! obviously I don't live there so I don't know where's the best! is it Bournemouth ?!?>!!>!>!>!

One major problem is that I wont have a car! but I am very willing to pay petrol money to whoever!

Southampton Uni has a good surf club. I ran it myself many years ago, 1991-1994. You will have no problems hooking up with some people once you get here. Plenty of waves to be had from spetember through to may. Summer months is pants and there are way better less crowded spots to be found other than bournemouth.

If he left his mobile number he would be at risk of lots of outdoor adventures most of which he wouldn't like.
