I use this one for my car keys, money and credit cards. Works fine.

For your electronic car key a condom will do the job just fine-

I use a key pod, since my keys are electric ones (and will cost £100 to get normal ones cut :0) just pop your keys in, lock the hook over a door handle or whatever and lock the combination lock.

Holy crap that's expensive. Did you try the car dealership? They cut me an extra copy for less than 5 dollars.

Maybe it's because I have an old school standard metal key, vs your fancy electronic one

I dont know if this would work but Get a small lock and a back pack and lock the key in the small zipper holes. Or you could put it under your towel. Try and hide it. Im just like you afriad someones going to jack my stuff lol

Reading your posts makes me realize how lucky I am . Here in northwest Tasmania most days I am more likely to spot a whale or a seal on the beach then another human , let alone a theiving human . I have always thrown my keys under the wheel arch but if you need car guards where you surf that may not be suitable to your situation .
When kayaking we always carry gear in dry packs I could use those for keys too if I had the need .

I got a Valet key made, then simply hide everything in my car. I don't park anywhere isolated so no break-in's so far, but I purposly don't park down a dark alley either. I make it a point to hide my wallet and cell phone somewhere they won't look first. but that's as far as it goes.

Hi, im a student from the UK, and i'm designing a waterproof sleeve to attach to a users board to keep valuables such as wallet and keys safe. Would really appreciate any thoughts or suggestions from people who love and surf regularly.

Possible solution for those with electronic keys: I have a Clio with central locking and found that I can lock the car by locking the car with one door open, putting the electronic key in the car when Im ready to leave and using a key I had cut for a few quid at a locksmith to lock the door.

Speaking of putting things in your pocket. A few years ago I was with some friends and after lunch and a few cocktails we decided to go sit on the beach for a few min. The water was nice it was a crowded family beach on a weekend. I thought getting wet would be a good Idea. I left my wallet, keys etc. with a friend on the sand and went in the water. After about 15min. I decided to go back in & this little girl (about 8-10) was running to her mom yelling MOMMY MOMMY look what I found and she had a few $20's in her hand. It took about a min to register. I got back to my friend grabbed my wallet looked. the $80 in change from lunch was not in my wallet. I threw the change in my shorts pocket and like an idiot with a few drinks in him hit the water with out checking my pockets.
