transporting a surfboard by bus in Brasil

I'll be traveling from Salvador to Florianopolis by coast and will be stopping in small coastal villages to surf

is it possible to transport a surfboard by bus in Brasil?
Does it cost extra?

That depends on your interests. It will give another kind of experience..enjoy the moments.

kazas1, No man. By bus you don't pay anything by carring your surfboards. I think only if you have many surfboards, that it can be considered as a extra weight. But I already carry 2,3 surfboards and that's ok!
