summer board

Postby db94 » Mon Feb 21, 2011 8:42 pm

hey guys , im going to buy a new board ,its summer here and id like to order a different one , cause i already have a 5`10 high performance shortboard and im thinking about ordering a fish or anything similar
i can do turns , snaps , cutbacks , and eventually land some airs , and since we are in summer id like to get a board that allows me to go big and have some advantage on those tiny waves (normally surf 1-3 feet waves) , im thinkin about getting a 5`5 or so , any advice ?

whats your size and weight would make it abit easier to help you. i surf a quad fin fish in surf upto about 4ft and love it great board as well for those little days most people won't surf . its fast down the line and moves over flat spots well. so would recommend a fish but all depends on what sort of fish you are looking at.

Check out the Channel Islands Pod if you want something high performance for small waves. You can read about it on their website. The 7S Superfish works pretty good too, for an all around fish. Maybe you could demo a few boards at your local surf shop.
