Longboard PRIVATE TUITION

Postby ameart » Mon Jan 24, 2011 7:23 pm

Hi All,

I'm blessed, my other half loves surfing. This means I can spend more time in the water without feeling guilty that I've deserted her in favour of a session at Saunton.

I'm informed I'm living the dream...alas, it 'aint as rosy as you'd imagine. Nowadays we find ourselves arguing over which spots to surf as my ability is greater than hers.

I'm after a decent one on one surf coach with a view to booking her a half day (possibly a day) of private longboarding tuition to boost her confidence in bigger waves. If anyone can recommend someone, I'd be most grateful. I've looked online but most schools seem fairly generic and keen to put you on a foamy with a big group.

Cheers all

Hi,
I'd recommend Ash Braunton, a top local Saunton longboarder for a decent one to one session. Check out http://www.ashleybraunton.com/?page_id=279.
Cheers

Thanks guys, much appreciated. I don't think she'd dig an all=weekend-er....but imagine the surf time I'd get to myself??

I've dropped Ash an email so fingers crossed there, will keep you posted.

Get yourself really blessed pick some spots together and give her the tuition yourself, ask her about would she like a full weekends lessons buy her a block of lessons as a gift. Talk of romantic surf getaways together. It's not about you unless you wish to become a loner again.

Worst relationship mistake I think anyone can make is assuming something like how much surf lesson she would like, ASK :!: find out the reality.
Give some time and get more love
