Hi, I have just bought my first board and was wondering if anyone surfs in the Poole and Bournemouth area? I have surfed for a morning about 10 years ago (so not that good ).

Looking at wetsuits, not really sure on what to get a 5/3 or a 3/2 (what is the temp of the water there normally?)

You will need a full winter steamer for the winter and a summer suit/shortie for the summer. Most of our swell is during the colder months.
