Excel Infiniti Drylock Gloves

Postby Lodato » Wed Jan 19, 2011 3:51 pm

I'm from Wilmington, NC, and our water typically only gets down to around 43 in February, though it has already hit 42 this year, as of yesterday.

I'm looking to get a new pair of gloves and am trying to decide between the 3mm and 5mm lobsters. Anyone used these gloves in the 40 degree water temps? We usually won't get above 50 degree water until mid March.

Water is 40F here right now, and gets as cold as 30F. I have 7mm Xcel Drylock mitts for the coldest days. Now, I'm wearing 5mm 5-finger Drylocks. I'd say go for the 5mm, though you may find 5-fingers are warm enough for you.
