Surf spots?

Postby Snow » Fri Apr 01, 2005 2:18 pm

Anybody know any good surf spots for this weekend (2nd Apr)? I'm living in Reading and prepared to travel 3 hours drive, so thinking Wales/Devon?

Yep, Phils right, we're inbetween systems at the moment. The one currently approaching from the NW won't be picking up any speed will monday and so with it not directly in the channels swell window we won't see anythign from it till Tuesday earlyest judging by current forecast models

Ireland will tho, the buggers!

This is a very simple site...
www.surfsystem.co.uk
But it gives the forecast nice and early in the week (usually) so you can plan your sick days
It also gives you a good list of some of the better know ( = crowded) breaks.

If you want to learn how to forecast yourself (you do, trust me, so you may as well start now) then this site gives you all the pressure charts, wind direction forecasts etc etc.

www.fluidconcept.co.uk/predictions/default.asp#

Hope that helps!

PS Next weekend - small but might be nice.
